Sasha completed her Bachelor of Science in Human Kinetics at the University of Guelph in 2013. With the drive and desire to get people better in the healthcare profession, she entered the Athletic Therapy degree program at Sheridan College. Throughout the course of degree program, Sasha has worked with a variety of sports teams including rugby, football, hockey, baseball, soccer, basketball and cheerleading; as well a variety of age groups ranging from pre-teen to elderly individuals. She has worked the St. Andrew’s College Varsity Soccer, Jr. Varsity Hockey and Varsity Rugby teams as well worked a summer up at Olympia Sports Camp. Currently Sasha is the Athletic Trainer for the Newmarket Redmen Minor Midget AA team. These experiences have exposed Sasha to a variety of injuries throughout the body and given her the education to effectively address the cause of the injuries.

Graduating in 2017 at the top of her class, Sasha now works as a Certified Athletic Therapist specializing in the assessment and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal conditions. She also has experience in on-field medical coverage and emergency medical care as well as concussion diagnosis and management. Her main goal is to get you better while giving you the tools you need to maintain your rehabilitation and avoid re-injury. She believes that patient education, motivation and adherence is the key to a successful rehabilitation program. Treatment techniques include manual mobilizations, muscle energy techniques, soft tissue release, exercise prescription, taping/support techniques, active mobility and stabilization techniques, concussion management and injury prevention. Sasha personalizes all of her treatments and programs to meet the individual needs and goals of her clients. Her focus at Concept of Movement is to motivate her clients to be their best selves while having fun doing it.
