Daniel completed his Bachelor of Science in Sports Intervention at Laval University in 2005. Shortly after his studies, he worked for the Personnel Support Program (PSP) as a Fitness and Sports Instructor for the proud men and women of the Canadian Armed Forces of Base Valcartier in Quebec City. In 2007, His work took him to Afghanistan where he served as a Fitness Coordinator at the Kandahar Air Field. Daniel later moved on to Base Borden where he works as a full time Directing Staff, training and qualifying all military Fitness Instructors and Specialists across the Country.

Daniel is passionate about capoeira, a Brazilian martial art that has taken him around the world competing and participating in various workshops and events. He travels often to Brazil to update his skills and has earned the level of Instructor of this art. Daniel now enjoys teaching capoeira in Barrie. His unique path through the fitness field has brought him to Concept of Movement where he is excited to help people attain their specific rehabilitation goals and to ensure quality of strength and conditioning services.
