Cailey MacDonald RMT

Registered Massage Therapist

Cailey is a Registered Massage Therapist and Sports Massage Therapist (cc). She graduated from Georgian College in October of 2015 and registered with the CMTO and CSMTA in January of 2016. Having been an athlete for her whole life, Cailey took an interest in body movement and function at a young age, participating in sports and activities such as competitive soccer, rugby, olympic weight lifting, varsity rowing, running, and yoga. Cailey has always been passionate about maintaining an active lifestyle so she decided to pursue a career in which she could help others do the same. After studying Human Kinetics at the University of Guelph, Cailey sought out massage therapy as her outlet for this passion.

In addition to becoming a RMT, Cailey has also received full-body course certifications in Active Release Techniques and Myofascial Cupping, and is a yoga teacher as well as a Sports Emergency First Responder with athletic and clinical taping certifications. Cailey’s approach to treatment is unique as she combines these various modalities to better help her clients, working both in clinic and with various local sports teams.

Cailey is passionate about educating individuals on how best to reach their rehabilition goals, working with clients to achieve anything from general wellness, maintenance and relaxation to specific work, sport, or functional injury rehab. She believes whole-heartedly in the motto “movement is medicine” and so in her spare time you can find Cailey out hiking with her dog, playing sports with friends or at the gym.
